MathGPT
Privacy Policy
How we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use the MathGPT mobile application.
Last updated: 8 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how M Solutions (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the MathGPT mobile application (the “App”). We are committed to handling your information responsibly and giving you meaningful control over it.
Who is responsible for your data. The data controller for the App is M Solutions [insert full registered legal name, e.g. “M Solutions FZ-LLC”], located at [insert registered UAE address]. If you have any questions, contact us at privacy@gpt-math.com.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
Account information
When you create an account or sign in, we collect your email address and basic account credentials. If you sign in using a third-party service (such as Sign in with Apple), we receive the information that service shares with us, which may be limited to a relay email address.
Content you submit
When you use the App, you submit math problems, questions, text, and images (for example, a photo of a problem). This content is processed to generate answers and explanations. To generate responses, your submitted content is sent to third-party artificial-intelligence providers (see Section 4). Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information within your questions, as it is not needed to use the App.
Subscription and purchase information
The App offers paid subscriptions and in-app purchases. These are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. We receive limited information such as your subscription status, plan, and transaction identifiers so we can provide the features you paid for.
Usage and analytics data
We collect information about how you interact with the App, such as features used, actions taken, session length, and general usage patterns. We use this to understand and improve the App.
Device and technical information
We automatically collect technical information including device model, operating-system version, app version, language and region settings, approximate location inferred from IP address, device identifiers, and diagnostic or crash data.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide the App and generate answers, explanations, and other features;
- To create and manage your account and authenticate you;
- To process and manage your subscriptions and purchases;
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App and develop new features;
- To analyze usage and measure performance;
- To provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security, and technical issues;
- To send you service-related communications (such as important notices or changes);
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. Legal Bases for Processing (EU/UK Users)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:
- Performance of a contract — to provide the App and features you request;
- Legitimate interests — to secure, maintain, analyze, and improve the App, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights;
- Consent — where we ask for it (for example, certain analytics); you may withdraw consent at any time;
- Legal obligation — where processing is required to comply with the law.
4. Artificial-Intelligence Processing
The App relies on third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI and/or Anthropic) to generate responses. When you submit a question, the relevant content is transmitted to these providers so they can return an answer. Your use of AI-generated responses is also subject to those providers’ terms and privacy practices. We encourage you to review them:
- OpenAI — openai.com/policies/privacy-policy
- Anthropic — anthropic.com/legal/privacy
AI-generated answers may contain errors and should be independently verified. They are not a substitute for professional, academic, or expert advice.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:
- Service providers and sub-processors — AI providers, analytics providers, cloud hosting, and infrastructure vendors who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations to protect it;
- Apple — for payment and subscription processing through the App Store;
- Legal and safety — where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or M Solutions;
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the App, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. You may request deletion of your data as described in Section 9.
7. Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International Data Transfers
We operate from the United Arab Emirates, and our providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. These countries may have data-protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers of personal data.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@gpt-math.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete your account and associated data;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
EU / UK (GDPR) rights

Other U.S. states
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Texas) may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of their personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
10. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers and platforms offer “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Where required by law, we treat a recognized GPC signal as a valid request to opt out of sale/sharing. Because we do not sell or share personal information, no additional action is typically required.
11. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at privacy@gpt-math.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
The App may reference or link to third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for them. Please review those policies before providing information.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
